Battery Bank Replacement
This page is one of four related pages.
- Battery Bank Replacement (this page)
- There are three subpages related to battery banks. The Battery Selection web page and the Battery Box Design web page have been moved and are now subpages to the Completed Electrical Work web page. The remaining subpage, the Battery Installation Plan web page will be moved once the battery modules have been installed and at least wired to the bus bars. At that point this page will be merged with the Completed Electrical Work web page.
- Battery Charging Plans
- This page provides an overview of battery charging plans and references other pages with details.
- Planned Electrical Work
- This page summarizes electrical work that is planned. The work is extensive and other pages are referenced with details in specific areas.
- Electric Auxilliary Propulsion
- This page documents the selection criteria for the electric auxilliary. Installation is covered in another page that is referenced. The page needs minor update to reflect the purchase of the motor.
Three battery banks will be installed, 48V, 24V, and 12V. The sizing of the 48V battery bank is discussed in the Electric Auxilliary Propulsion web page. The battery selection and bank sizes are described in the Battery Selection web page. The Battery Installation Plan web page describes the plan to use two battery modules and the planned placement of the modules. The Battery Box Design describes the boxes used to hold the battery modules, providing measurements and construction details.
