Deferred and Abandonned Plans
With ambitious plans, some work is likely to be postponed to a later season. Some planned work may end up being abandonned.
Genset is not needed
Any prior plans to add a genset are now all but abandoned. Estimates of solar and wind generation and of electrical loads indicate that a genset will not be needed. There is also very little room to put a genset.
Awlgrip paint is not needed
Kent Richardson of Richardson Marine, Don who works for Kent, and Kenrick who subcontracts wood and other refinishing have all commented that the gelcoat is in excellent shape and it would not be a good idea to paint the topsides. I will be taking their advice and not having the topsides painted in the forseeable future. Kenrick buffed the topsides, elimiated some of the chalky appearance and brought back the gelcoat shine.
